I'm The Wind Blowing Through Your Hair
Just so everyone knows...
The Italian Giovanni (John) Belzoni around 1815-1820 discovered the Tomb of Seti I, The Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Abu Simbel (Egypt): the British Museum in London received many of its Egyptian statues from him. Unfortunately, Belzoni is not widely known, but he was an important explorer at the time.
I was watching a program about the discoveries of Jean-Francoise Champollion, Giovanni Belzoni and Howard Carter - and I realized that while many know that Carter discovered Tutankhamon's tomb, few realize the importance of Belzoni for Egyptian Archaeology. I love my country, so sue me :P
Today in my town happened two earthquakes - one at 4.20 PM and another at 11 PM (while I was watching this program at the tv) - the "strongest" one was the first, of 5.2 Richter degrees.
It's a bit strange 'cause my town isn't in a sismic zone 'cause there are many swamps.... and two earthquakes in one day is unusual.
I wasn't scared, but still...
