1) LJ USERNAME - OBSCURITYSTAR: well, I first tried Laura-chan, but it was already used, so I decided for something "strange" and unusual. 'Obscurity' because I like metal and gothic and dark (and wearing black); 'star' because it's something that shines and it goes well with obscurity.
I admit in the beginning I wasn't happy of this username, but now it grew on me :)

2) ITALY: well, what can I say about Italy? It's my country and I have a love/hate relationship with it. I love the story, the culture, the cities, the nature, the food, the friendliness of people. I hate the politicians (a few only are good), I hate the fact that we have the Church who keeps poking its nose in places it doesn't belong in (like, our laws), I hate the mafia, I hate the fact that Italians seem not to have any idea of what "national's pride" and "civil education" mean, I hate the fact that we have so many resources (first of all, our past history) which are treated like shit, I hate the fact that if you want to arrive somewhere in life you must lick asses or have high sources, I hate the fact that Italians re-elected Berlusconi as First Minister. I hate the fact that probably I will have to go outside Italy to find a decent job, 'cause archaeologists are treated like they're useless (for example, a chief archaeologist on an excavation is payed 1600 euros per month, an inexpert bar keeper 2000 euros). I hate the fact that my country doesn't seem to care about giving a future to its young citizens.
I wish I could do something to make Italy a better country.

3) NARUTO: it's actually my favourite manga (before there was Inuyasha). But I must admit I'm a bit tired of it - it was awesome until Sasuke went away, then things went downhill. I like that Sakura got stronger in Shippuuden, but other than that I feel that too many people are dying... I want my SasuSaku ending!! Kishimoto-sensei, you're getting me angryyyyy and frustrated! Moreover, I think that the females are deeply understimated: I mean, he created such powerful characters (Tsunade, Sakura, Temari, Ino etc.) and Kishimoto completely forgot to develope them save for Sakura! He always gives much space to males, but he seems to forget that Naruto has a very large base of female fans.

4) ARCHAEOLOGY: I live for archaeology - I was 3-4 years old when I first began saying that I would become an archaeologist. I love history, and studying past civilations. It's a neverending passion that grows in me everyday.

5) FANDOMS: I love manga, I love books, I love reading fanfictions - and writing them! Thanks to fanfictions I learnt English: I mean, of course I studied it in school, but it's different when you start reading for passion and you WANT to know what that phrase means. I like also to draw but it's been years since I had time to draw like I did in high school. Favourite fandoms are Naruto and Harry Potter nowadays (I love SasuSaku and DracoHermione), but I have minor interests (Inuyasha - which once was a major interest, Prince Caspian, Bones, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic!, etc..).
